Robert Pattinson Berminat Jadi Jeff Buckley

Memang ada rencana untuk membuat film tentang kisah hidup Jeff Buckley, penulis lagu, vokalis, sekaligus gitaris yang meninggal di usia yang masih muda. Banyak aktor yang ternyata berminat memerankan sosok yang satu ini, termasukRobert Pattinson meski sampai saat ini masih belum dipastikan siapa yang bakal memerankan Jeff nantinya.

Kabar ini terungkap ketika Michelle Sy dan Orian Williams, sedang diwawancarai E! Online beberapa waktu yang lalu. Kabarnya hampir semua aktor muda Hollywood berusaha mendapatkan peran ini. "Rob sempat mengungkapkan minatnya pada proyek ini dan kami memang sempat bertemu. Ada beberapa aktor yang sepertinya cocok tapi akan lebih meyakinkan kalau menggunakan aktor yang belum dikenal," ujar Michelle seperti diberitakan Splash News.

Memang sampai saat ini Michelle Sy dan Orian Williams masih sedang memilih aktor mana yang menurut mereka paling pas memerankan karakter legendaris ini. "Kami terbuka pada semua opsi, semuanya, mulai dari aktor besar sampai pendatang baru atau musisi sekalipun," lanjut mereka lagi. Dalam berita yang sama juga disebutkan kalau ini bukanlah satu-satunya proyek biopic Jeff Buckley. Proyek lain sepertinya sudah dipastikan bakal dibintangi oleh Penn Badgley

Kristen Stewart donates autographed shoes to benefit crackdown on human trafficking

Kristen Stewart has donated a pair of her own shoes, which she has autographed, to Shoe Revolt to do her part in ending human trafficking. Shoe Revolt is an organization that aims to end human sex trafficking. The shoes will be auctioned off to raise money.

While we sleep peacefully at night, down corner alleys, behind old buildings, and along abandoned railroads, horrible and unimaginable crimes are being committed against our youth.

Shoe Revolt has committed resources to educate the masses, stop traffickers, and heal victims of these human trafficking crimes, and now we are thrilled to announce a new strategy; a teen revolt. For teenagers who live in a stable environment, the issues of sex trafficking are distant; most youth have difficulty simply grasping the concept.

Many teenagers are unaware of what sex trafficking really entails and don’t understand that it is occurring on domestic soil.

These teens are not aware of the tricks and strategies that traffickers use to exploit and imprison youth like them against their will. Because this issue is so secretive and unimaginable, teenagers simply ignore it.

Shoe Revolt feels that teens can no longer be complacent; human trafficking affects the very freedom that the United States of America promises to them all. It is time to educate and get teens involved to start a teen revolt against human trafficking.

@peterfacinelli Producing Film About Whitey Bulger's Boston Gang

Twilight Saga star Peter Facinelli is producing an adaptation of Street Soldier: My Life as an Enforcer For Whitey Bulger and the Boston Irish Mob, an adaptation of the Edward MacKenzie and Phyllis Karas book. Facinelli Films is teamed with Brookstreet Pictures on an indie film that will tell the story of Bulger's rise and disappearance from the Boston mob scene. While Bulger was said to have informed the character that Jack Nicholson played in The Departed,his tale has drawn film interest after he was apprehended in Santa Monica after vanishing in 1994 as federal agents were about to arrest him in connection with 21 killings, racketeering and other crimes perpetrated in the 70s and 80s involving his Winter Hill gang.

Do you believe in magic? Danielle Nussbaum explores the creatures stealing the supernatural spotlight.

With the end of Twilight drawing near, it seems like the supernatural field is clearing up a bit. After all, vampires are so . . . 241 years ago. Sure, there are The Vampire Diaries and True Blood, but I'm going to be bold: This trend is on its way out. So, who—or what—could take its place?

First up, werewolves. Jacob Black and pack are Twilight staples, and the new iteration is not so new—it's merely recycled. That said, with Teen Wolf, MTV transfers the beasts from big to small screen in the highest-profile push since Joss Whedon resurrected Buffy the Vampire Slayer for television.

Taking a cue from Harry Potter, Vampire Diaries author L.J. Smith is bringing yet another of her books to the CW, this one focusing on the lives of witches. Secret Circle, starring Britt Robertson (who lit up the awesome but cancelled Life Unexpected), should get a full season pickup this fall.

And then there are zombies. The undead seem to keep coming to ife—Hellcats and Glee both did theme episodes, and AMC's The Walking Dead is a brainy delight. Not to mention, a Zombieland sequel is in the works.

Finally, fairy tales are staging a comeback. The concept was visited in the eighties sitcom The Charmings: classic characters fending for themselves in a modern suburb. Recently, Enchanted and Red Riding Hood breathed new life into the genre. Next up? Hailee Steinfeld in Sleeping Beauty, and dueling Snow White films, one featuring Kristen Stewart and the other Lily Collins. Add that to ABC's new pilot Once Upon a Time with Ginnifer Goodwin, and we may just have ourselves a happy ending after all.

The Many Talents Of The Stars In The Twilight Universe

It is very well-known that the Twilight cast is a multi-talented bunch, particularly when it comes to music. Several of the Saga’s actors are notoriously musically-inclined, and in fact a couple of them are actively involved in performing on a regular basis. There are other skills floating around the cast, too.
So, to keep things streamlined (especially since every character in the Saga has been cast by now), here’s a run-through of the known castmembers who have major talents outside the thespian realm.


Robert Pattinson (“Edward Cullen”)
Almost no one would deny the fact that Robert Pattinson has a voice . . . especially after that lovely “Songs from a Room” performance, which was fully revealed last month.
Pattinson’s singing voice was featured twice on the soundtrack for Twilight (for songs he and his long-time pals wrote: “Never Think” and “Let Me Sign”). He was also featured on the soundtrack of his pre-Twilight indie How To Be (although the music there was intentionally so-so) a few times.
For a while there, it was heavily speculated whether Pattinson would ever venture into compiling his own music album, and many fans direly hope he would. Time shall tell . . .
Another talent Pattinson seems to have is a way with modeling for photographs. True enough, he did do a stint in modeling during his early days, and that has carried over quite well into the many, many photo-shoots we’ve seen from him (this one being my favorite; yours?).


Kristen Stewart (“Bella Swan”)
Kristen Stewart first displayed her penchant for music performance in the 2007 hit Into The Wild. She received a writing credit for one of the two songs (“Tracy’s Song”) performed in the film, and in 2010, she took it up a notch and portrayed Joan Jett in The Runaways, rocking out for a whopping eight songs on the soundtrack.
It is said that Kristen Stewart likes to “jam” in her spare time now, but the likelihood of her going pro with it outside of film is slim . . . Shame, right?

'Now Is Good' for Dakota Fanning & Kaya Scodelario

Kaya Scodelario will join Dakota Fanning in the upcoming Now Is Good.

The 19-year-old actress confirmed on her Twitter, “Just been told that I’m aloud 2 tell u guys what my next project is! It’s called Now Is Good and I’ll be working with Dakota Fanning! Excited!”

Now is Good is based on Jenny Downham’s novel “Before I Die,” about a terminally ill teenage girl’s desire to experience life to the fullest before she dies.

Jeremy Irvine, Paddy Considine and Olivia Williams round out the cast of the film, to be directed by Ol Parker.

Shooting begins in just a few days in London.

Robert Pattinson: The Animal Lover

From all the things that we find endearing about Rob, we'd have to say the being a complete animal lover is what trumps them all. In a new (fan translated) interview with Japan's Screen magazine, he proves our point.

Rob:…”I finally decided to get a dog, found him at the shelter. To tell you the truth, I wanted to adopt all the dogs there and run a “Dog Ranch” and let them do whatever they want to do. But I guess it is not the time yet; I am willing to do so in the near future. My dog which is a mixed breed, seems to get big, that’s why I named him Bear. I want to have him around me all the time, and I want to take him with me everywhere. I grew up with dogs with my family, there were always dogs in my life. If I reincarnate and become an animal I definitely want to be a dog. They would do nothing much but eat and go for a walk; and for the rest would be either watching TV or taking nap. There’s not much difference with my life anyways. I am not too much of a fan of dog food, but I would be happy with a sandwich from the In’n Out every day. I became friends with an elephant since I worked with her in “Water For Elephants”. I’ve learned that not too much hugging or petting is needed to get around with the wild animals. We treat them as a part of the family, but you never know how they think about you in return. Like, if you are moving around a huge elephant, you need to be careful, if she steps on you that’s it. You still have to be very cautious around the trained animals.”…

Rob:…“Me and my friends did a road trip around the States, it was interesting; people are different in each state. There was even a place with no phones. It was fun, many people didn’t even recognize me. When I go back in England, people notice me and look down to pretend I’m not there. Some tourists notice me though.”

5 Minutes With 'Eclipse' Make-Up Artist Leslie Graham

It's been a big few years for makeup artist Leslie Graham. Not only has she made up some of the biggest names in the biz (Tyra Banks and Jamie-Lee Curtis to name a few) she was also responsible for the makeup looks for the vampires on The Twilight Saga: New Moon and Eclipse, Sucker Punch andTron: Legacy with pal and mentor Rosalina Da Silva. We were lucky enough to catch up with Leslie to talk vampires and the inspiration behind her favourite beauty looks.

BellaSugar: You created some of the looks for the vampires in New Moonand Eclipse — who did you look after and what were the key products you used to create their looks?

Leslie Graham: For New Moon I was brought in to be a personal makeup artist for actor Jamie Campbell Bower, who played the role of Caius (one of the leaders of the Voluturi). For Eclipse I did the makeup for all of the Wolfpack [Alex Meraz, Julia Jones and Chaske Spencer], Jodelle Ferland and some of the newborn vampires. On set I would take care of Dakota and the other Volturi. We did a lot of air-brushing using MAC Micronized Airbrushed Formula to give the "onion" skin tone. It has a little silicone in it, which works to keep the makeup in place as we were often working in the woods and in the rain — vampires in the rain can be quite difficult!

Which Twilight actor has breakout star potential?

 In a new article for Movies.com, Laura from Twilight Lexicon discusses which of the Twilight Saga stars might have a bigger career to look forward to do to their appearance in the film franchise. Fans on twitter chose three stars as the top contenders: Anna Kendrick, Jamie Campbell Bower and Kellan Lutz.


Amanda Bell from Twilight Examiner had a hard time picking just one person. In the end she was able to narrow it to two actors. Bell felt that, “Jamie Campbell Bower and Xavier Samuel are the two who have real breakout potential thanks to The Twilight Saga. Bower had done Sweeney Todd and other work before, but he’s gotten some serious acceleration after doing New Moon (what with scoring a place in Harry Potter, then the lead in Camelot, and, of course, now with his part in The Mortal Instruments). Samuel, meanwhile, has gotten a lot of attention as well. Many fans are excited to see what he’ll do next. The fact that these two worked together on Roland Emmerich’s Anonymous is just icing on the cake. I look to see good things from both…”

Will Rob, Kristen and Taylor Promote ‘Breaking Dawn’ in Brazil?

The question of whether Rob, Kristen and Taylor will promote Breaking Dawn in Brazil has been tossed around since filming took place in Rio!

Here is what is being reported!

Sandy Adamil, director of Paris Filmes (brazilian distributor) talked to O Globo about a junket for Breaking Dawn in Rio with Rob, Kristen and Taylor.Rough translation

After “Transformers”, the next confirmed junkets in Rio are “Mr. Popper,” the Fox comedy that will bring Jim Carrey to Rio later this month at a date to be confirmed, ”The Twilight: Dawn – Part 1 “, from the successful vampire series, distributed in Brazil by Paris Filmes and scheduled for the second semester, and the animated “Puss in Boots,” from Paramount, whose voice actors, Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek, will come in November.

All of this generates a high cost to distributors. The market speculates that for the Fast & Furious 5″ junket, Universal spent close to $5 million. As for the “Breaking Dawn”, Paris will probably spend up to $ 1.5 million to bring to Rio the trio of actors Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

- We had a release for the “Twilight” series in 2009, in Sao Paulo with “New Moon”. Then we were lucky that the author of the books, Stephenie Meyer, wrote part of “Breaking Dawn” taking place in Rio, which brought them here last year to shoot scenes of the movie. This helped on the agreement for the realization of the junket – says Sandy Adamil, director of Paris. – You can’t have guaranteed return of the investment at the box office, but marketing. And certainly helps to bring the international film market to Rio.
