Taylor Lautner Describes “Lifelong Bond” for Jacob and Renesmee in ‘Breaking Dawn – Part 2′

In the past, Lautner has said he found the metaphysical mechanics of it all a bit confusing. But talking to Stephenie Meyer and diving back into the book got him more comfortable with the notion of being in love with a child. “Everybody likes to teaseme about it,” he says. “Everyone thinks it’s so funny, and I laugh along with them, but it’s important for me to keep in my mind that it’s as simple as a lifelong bond. It’s not nearly as creepy as everybody likes to joke.

That “everybody” includes Robert Pattinson, needless to say. “Oh, I can’t wait till he has to do live TV,” Pattinson says of Lautner with a gleeful cackle. “Did you ask him if his taste in women has changed? The first scene I saw them together, I literally could not stop laughing. I wouldn’t have been able to do it.”

The Beauties & The Beasts: Vampires, Wolves & Other Supernatural Creatures

Do you believe in magic? Danielle Nussbaum explores the creatures stealing the supernatural spotlight.

With the end of Twilight drawing near, it seems like the supernatural field is clearing up a bit. After all, vampires are so . . . 241 years ago. Sure, there are The Vampire Diaries and True Blood, but I'm going to be bold: This trend is on its way out. So, who—or what—could take its place?

First up, werewolves. Jacob Black and pack are Twilight staples, and the new iteration is not so new—it's merely recycled. That said, with Teen Wolf, MTV transfers the beasts from big to small screen in the highest-profile push since Joss Whedon resurrected Buffy the Vampire Slayer for television.

Taking a cue from Harry Potter, Vampire Diaries author L.J. Smith is bringing yet another of her books to the CW, this one focusing on the lives of witches. Secret Circle, starring Britt Robertson (who lit up the awesome but cancelled Life Unexpected), should get a full season pickup this fall.

And then there are zombies. The undead seem to keep coming to ife—Hellcats and Glee both did theme episodes, and AMC's The Walking Dead is a brainy delight. Not to mention, a Zombieland sequel is in the works.

Finally, fairy tales are staging a comeback. The concept was visited in the eighties sitcom The Charmings: classic characters fending for themselves in a modern suburb. Recently, Enchanted and Red Riding Hood breathed new life into the genre. Next up? Hailee Steinfeld in Sleeping Beauty, and dueling Snow White films, one featuring Kristen Stewart and the other Lily Collins. Add that to ABC's new pilot Once Upon a Time with Ginnifer Goodwin, and we may just have ourselves a happy ending after all.

Jacob Black & Seth Clearwater among Five Hottest Wolves

1.Jacob Black
Who knew that boy skinny and hairy “Twilight” would become in our SuperGate Jacob Black, huh? After it was confirmed for the 2nd James Bond movie, Taylor Lautner became one of our favorite fictional wolves. In “New Moon”, we see him more comfortable, but it is in “Eclipse” that nearly died every time the character appears on screen.Oh, Jake!

4.Seth Clearwater
Cub The newest of our list is supercute!Played by actor Boo Boo Stewart, Seth Edward helps to protect Bella from Victoria and Riley in the battle of “Eclipse.”We love knowing that, despite being the same pack of wolves, Seth shows that also wants to be friends with the Cullens.
