Charlie Bewley Preparing for a Marathon!

Twilight actor Charlie Bewley has traded in his fangs for running shoes.
The English actor, who plays the Volturi vampire Demetri in the Twilight Saga movies is in town busy training for the May 1 BMO Vancouver Marathon.
Bewley is running and raising money as a tribute to his late friend and colleague stunt woman Jocelyn Clarke, who passed away from lung cancer on February 14 at the age of 36.
“She was a really brilliant girl,” said Bewley, who hopes his Run For Your Life campaign will be a lifelong endeavor. “She is ingrained in my heart. I wanted to celebrate the life of this amazing person.”
While running a full marathon is certainly impressive Bewley is picking up the pace, if you will, and actually adding another 21 km to the 43 km marathon length, bringing his day’s run total to 64 km.
“For me it’s an underlying message for anyone who feels they are stronger than what they are putting out right now,” said Bewley, who lives in Los Angeles but has called Vancouver and Whistler home in the past.
Bewley, who met Clarke on a bus on the way to audition, is further honouring the memory of the Vancouver stunt woman, who doubled for Dakota Fanning’s vampire character in Twilight’s New Moon and Eclipse movies, by donating funds raised through a ticket draw (charliebewley.com/runforyourlife) to the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation.
Each dollar sponsored earns one ticket into a draw to win an advanced, private screening for the winner and 20 of their friends for Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1, which is currently shooting in Vancouver. And attention Twihards, Bewley will make an appearance at that screening.

Peter Facinelli Talks ‘Twilight’ and ‘Loosies’

We all know what a busy guy Peter is. Celebuzz was able to sit down with him to get the scoop on what he’s up to  now. Here is some of that interview. Head over to Celebuzz to see the full interview!
Fans of Twilight may know Peter Facinelli as the DILF-y vampire Dr. Carlisle Cullen but there is more to PFac than playing Robert Pattinson‘s dad – the Queens-born actor is currently working onLoosies (a film that he wrote, produced and starred in) with his new production company, Facinelli Films. Peter took some time out of his hectic Breaking Dawn filming schedule to chat with Celebuzz about the making of Loosies and how he feels about Twilight finally coming to a close.
Tell us a little bit about your character in Loosies.
I play a pickpocket in New York who he lives with his mom [laughs] and his mom thinks he works on Wall Street. So, every day he walks out of the house in a suit and tie and he walks down to the subway and that’s his office and he just pickpockets the people all day. He’s a pickpocket because he’s in debt, his father left him with $500,000 in gambling debts, so he has to pay off the person that his father was indebted to which isVincent Gallo‘s character so it kind of took his life into a whole different direction.
He lives this fast, loose kind of Steve McQueen kind of lifestyle and one day he gets tapped on the shoulder and this girl that he had a one night stand with tells him that she’s pregnant and his whole world just kind of collapses around him because he has to grow up and take responsibility for something, so it’s a fun story.
What was your motivation for starting your own production company, Facinelli Films, and creating your own films?
You know I had a couple of films that I had written and I thought it was time to get them off the ground.  I wrote a television movie for the Hallmark Channel that aired last month and that my wife [Jennie Garth] starred in called Accidentally in Love and it did really well in the ratings so I was really happy about that. Loosies was the second movie that I had written and we shot it last August and are now in the middle of post-production.
To be able to create something and give other people a job and have the whole crew working on something that was just an idea in your head, that was very exciting for me.
You mentioned that you are in the middle of shooting Breaking Dawn, is it a bittersweet feeling to know that the Twilight Saga is coming to a close?
Yeah. I mean, we’re so busy working that I don’t think that we’ve wrapped our heads around the fact that it’s ending soon. We still have another month to go so right now we’re just knee-deep in the work of it. I haven’t really given much thought to it being over. Even when it’s over, the films will be coming out over the next two years so I’ll still see everybody.

Amanda Seyfriend Talks about ‘Red Riding Hood’ Comparisons to ‘Twilight’

I saw this film this weekend and I have to say..I do not get the comparison to Twilight. I didn’t see any similarities!
The American actress – who made her film debut in Mean Girls – is best known for her roles in Mamma Mia!, Dear John and Jennifer’s Body.
She can next be seen in dark fantasy film Red Riding Hood – which is produced by Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio and directed by Catherine Hardwicke, who previously worked on Twilight.
The 25-year-old actress is tired of being asked if the gothic film will make her into a star like Kristen Stewart.
“She’s [Kristen Stewart] uncomfortable with it, but also, it’s like, she’s only noticed for that and she’s been working for so long. There’s hype but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t just a little bit annoyed at the Twilight comparisons,” she told Marie Claire magazine.
The stunning star says she doesn’t worry about being in Kristen’s position. She hopes the film will rival the Twilight saga’s success, but if it does, it would be for “different” reasons.

Emily Browning explains why she didn’t want to play Bella

Emily Browning is busy promoting her upcoming film Sucker Punch, and in a recent interview withIndieWire, she discussed her decision not to audition for the role of Bella Swan for the first Twilightmovie.
“I chose not to audition,” Browning said about “Twilight” which was offered to her during this should-I or shouldn’t-I period of career introspection. “The author at one point stated that I would be her ideal Bella, but I chose not to audition because I was at a point in my career where I wasn’t sure I wanted to work, I definitely didn’t want to sign onto a trilogy so I didn’t audition, but there were a lot of things people said: ‘you turned it down’ no that’s not the case, ‘you were offered it and you turned it down,’ no, no, no, that’s not what happened at all. And there were battles but it was really just as simple as I don’t want to work right now so…”

Rob Pattinson Talks “Breaking Dawn” to USA Today

In a great new interview in USA Today, Rob Pattinson gives some new insight about his  movie Water for Elephants and details on  Breaking Dawn scenes we have all been highly anticipating. Read on and enjoy !!
Picture from Instyle.com
Lions and tigers and bears! (Cue the ‘Oh my!’) Those are real animals, not CGI, in Robert Pattinson’s new circus flick Water for Elephants, co-starring Reese Witherspoon (it’s out April 22). But with all those carnivores prowling around the 1930s-themed set, you’ll never believe which animal Pattinson feared most.
The horses.
Scarier than having to throw meat into a lion’s cage? “I had to get knocked down by a horse. That was terrifying,” Patz tells USA TODAY’s Andrea Mandell. “It was just one split second but (it was) a fully grown stallion…I’m kind of relatively scared of horses as well. I’m just glad I didn’t have to ride any of them. I’m not particularly good at horse riding.”
On a short break from shooting Breaking Dawn in Vancouver, he also offered up some Edward Cullen-style gossip. The main story line is “so far outside of the box,” he says.”It’s really different from the other ones. There are some days on set just watching you go ‘How is this going to be PG-13?’” he said with a laugh. “It’s like totally ridiculous.”
Haven’t read Twilight’s fourth novel? Read no further.
Pattinson confirms he and Stewart have filmed the birth scene, and with a laugh, says the shooting was “kind of hilarious.”
He explains: “She has to have this pregnant suit on all the time, that was probably more annoying for her,” he said. That’s not the only change you’ll see in Bella.
“I can’t give too much away but there’s some bits, especially towards the end of the movie, she’s just like the polar opposite of any of the other (films),” he says. “I mean, she’s a different person, which is cool. She looks completely different. She looks probably the most convincing vampire out of all of us.”
Meaning what, exactly? “A lot of us look like we’re just from Mars,” said Pattinson. “She’s kind of the smallest one, but she suits being a vampire.”
Next up: Breaking Dawn’s wedding shoot, scheduled for April. “That’s a hard scene too,” he told us. Not to mention the flood of paparazzi who will try to get a shot of Bella and Edward headed down the aisle. “It’s been OK in Vancouver in terms of people showing up and trying to get stuff,” says Rob. “I have a feeling the wedding is going to be the one with (paparazzi) parasailing in.” Talk about a money shot.
I can’t wait !!!

Xavier Samuel talks ‘Eclipse’ with MTV Australia

MTV Australia caught up with Twilight: Eclipse baddie Xavier Samuel at the Optus One80Project last week. He talked a little about his Twilight experience.
MTV: Were you ever worried about just being known as the guy who was in ‘Twilight’?
Xavier: That never crossed my mind. I just felt really lucky to be cast in a role that wasn’t your average villain. There was a bit of complexity to this guy, but I never really felt like, I’m going to be playing vampires for the rest of my life!
MTV: Did you feel the pressure acting out such a beloved book and series?
Xavier: Well I felt great about it because when I flicked through the book I was like, where’s Riley?! (laughs) There was like one line, literally one sentence!! I was fortunate in the sense that they decided to depart from Bella’s point of view for the first time – it’s still faithful to the book but it extrapolates other dimensions in it. So there is a kind of degree of expectation and pressure to remain true to a character that is so close to so many people’s hearts. So the pressure’s on, certainly for the characters that have more of a journey. But I think they’ve done an amazing job bringing the books to life.
MTV: Is there any talk about developing Stephanie Myer’s fifth book ‘The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner’? Because you’d obviously be a big part of that…
Xavier: Well I haven’t heard any whispers, but it’s a really cool back story. I remember reading it, David Slade [director of ‘Twilight: Eclipse’] gave me the manuscript of this book, and it really sang to me, and for me it was a great source of information as well as being a great story.

Twilight's Ashley Greene's lipstick Ms. Behavin by Benefit

As you may already know, the lipstick Ashley Greene wears in the film Twilight is VERY hard to come by.

The lipstick is by Benefit and is called Ms. Behavin. For some reason it is no longer listed on Benefit's web site.

Fortunately, the lipstick can still be purchased at
Amazon and for only $13.60.

Xavier Samuel talks 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' and 'Bree Tanner'

It's been a while since we've heard anything from Xavier Samuel ("Riley" in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse), but this weekend, he spent some time in Sydney, Australia as a presenter for the Optus ONE80PROJECT Awards, and MTV Australia caught up with him to do an interview.

"[W]hen I flicked through the book I was like, where’s Riley? . . .  There was like one line, literally one sentence! I was fortunate in the sense that they decided to depart from Bella’s point of view for the first time - it’s still faithful to the book but it extrapolates other dimensions in it. Paul Giamatti Talks Rob and 'Cosmopolis'

Then it’s on to David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis with Robert Pattinson. Are you ready for R-Pat’s fans? They’re pretty loud.

When a friend of mine heard I was doing this movie, and he was in it, she completely freaked out. But I’m just so blissfully unaware of this stuff, I wasn’t even taking in the fact that it’s the Twilight guy.

MetroWNY: Are Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart the most down to earth celeb’s?

What do you think? Do Rob and Kristen seem down to earth?
Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart appear to be the most down to earth celebrities in the business today. They aren’t pretentious or arrogant, and they don’t flaunt their fame and celebrity. I’m sure there are other celebrities that are just as down to earth as Rob and Kristen, but RPattz and KStew are the two biggest stars in Hollywood right now, and have every right to be full of themselves.
Last week Pattinson and Stewart went out on a date and waited in line for tickets like regular folks. They engaged their fans by taking pictures and actually having conversations with them. Could you imagine Angelina Jolie or Brad Pitt doing that? We can’t.
You don’t see Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart arriving everywhere in limos, wearing thousand dollar suits and gowns, posing for pictures and acting as if they are royalty. Most celebrities think they are special when indeed they are not. Rob and Kristen know they are no different than anyone else and they know that their fame and fortune are a direct result of their fans great admiration.

Meet Mackenzie Foy’s Stand In

Although Mackenzie Foy is playing Renesmee Cullen in Breaking Dawn, they still needed another girl with Mackenzie’s body structure for the stand-in and photo-double. According to IMDb, Haley Duryea is the lucky girl who gets to take on the stand-in job!
Keep in mind that she is not required to look like Mackenzie, she only needs to have a similar body structure. I am going to assume she’s being used for ‘older Renesmee Cullen’ stills since Hayley is clearly taller/older. They will simply add Mackenzie’s face to Hayley’s body.
This is so exciting! Can’t wait to see how this all comes together!

Judi Shekoni (Zafrina) talks Team Edward, filming, and joining the fandom

English actress Judi Shekoni will be playing Amazonian vamp Zafrina in Breaking Dawn. In a new interview, Judi reveals that she was a fan of the Twilight books and films before she was cast, and also mentions which Team she has chosen!
You’re currently filming for Twilight: Breaking Dawn, playing Amazonian vampire Zafrina – were you a fan of the franchise before securing the role?
Absolutely. I read the first two books when I was on a cruise around the Bahamas with my friend Jenny. I tend not to read fiction but I got to the stage of boredom that I would have tried anything. At first, it seemed a bit weird and I remember thinking ‘I don’t understand, it’s all about kids’, but the more I read, the more hooked I was. At one point, I was like get me off this ship I need to go buy the next book. When the first film was released, me and my friends all booked tickets in advance and we just adored it.
It’s taken on element of the surreal now because just the other day I was stood in the Cullen house, looking at their book shelf thinking as if I’m here!
What has it been like working with the cast?
Everyone has been super nice, there’s an atmosphere of family. Spending time with everyone has been great, Rob (Pattinson) is such a laugh and it’s been an enjoyable experience. There’s a mix of nationalities here, and the Canadians are a lot like the Brits with their humour.  Sometimes you can join a project like this and be met by a few prima-donnas, but that couldn’t be further from the truth here.  All us newcomers are welcomed like we’ve been involved since the beginnings. It helps that we’re in the most beautiful hotel. It’s like a network of private mini lodges; I’ve even got my own fireplace!
Are you Team Edward or Jacob?
I’d have to say Team Edward. Being a fan of the books, it’s hard not to fall for him; he is the dream man we’re all looking for.
Are you ready for the influx of media attention you’re no doubt going to receive for being part of the Twilight Saga?
It’s been crazy already. Fans seem to know where we are before we do, and are always waiting near the set or hotels and airports. Being associated with such a high profile film, there’s bound to be a lot of attention. The premiere is what I’m most looking forward to, getting to go the Kodak Chinese Theatre in Hollywood for my own film, and coming to London to show it to home audiences. I can’t imagine how exciting it’ll be.
